Rohit is the Managing Partner and co-Founder of Lumis. In his 15 years of experience on a global footprint, Rohit has created investment strategies and built a synergistic portfolio of businesses, run technology businesses, managed M&A, and led large Outsourcing Initiatives.
In Lumis, Rohit has been actively involved in the critical building blocks across -- getting the team in place, executing the Operating philosophy of the fund, and in honing on the thematic focus. He directly owns the fund's strategy in Supply Chain and has been actively building the Portfolio.
Before Lumis Partners, Rohit was at Genpact, where he was the CEO of the Technology Business, and was a significant enabler of the company's Process-Technology strategy. The largest part of Rohit's career was at GE, where he held positions across multiple businesses including his last position of leading GE's Global Outsourcing Initiative.
He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Delhi University in 1994, and his Masters in the Faculty of Economics from the London School of Economics in 1996, where he was a JN Tata Scholar. |
