Healthcare & Life Sciences is an extremely promising yet one of the most complex sectors. It is highly fragmented and ridden with inefficiencies, that precisely is an opportunity we wish to address. We do not focus on core-caregiver segment but our world revolves around ‘enabling’ firms that deliver value to payers, providers and most importantly patients. Our healthcare interests span systems solutions, consulting, analytics and mid-room and back-room services . We focus on firms that ‘enable’ efficient healthcare delivery … ‘innovation’ is the key.

Education is one of the fastest growing sectors globally. One of the biggest pain points in this sector is ‘employability’. In growing economies such as India, of more than 3.1 Million students who graduate, less than 30% get a job in their year of graduation. On the other hand, there is an unmet demand of over 2 Million jobs as companies believe that fresh graduates are not ‘industry’ ready. We focus on bridging the ‘employability’ gap through ‘work-force development’ in economies where this demand-supply gap is very compelling. Our interests and investments therefore spread across deep domain rich content companies; delivery infrastructure for instructor as well as eLearning based models; front-end formats for retail, corporate as well as universities; and finally placement and staffing companies.

Our interest in Platform Leveraged Services is based on the need to enable outsourcing of high-end services that require a complex combination of deep domain knowledge based on rich subject matter expertise, efficiently delivered on high-end technology platforms and most essentially analytical strengths of high caliber talent. These services need to be delivered in a rigorous, repeatable manner that can be scaled in an exponential manner. Our interests therefore span across specific knowledge based niche areas, which include our current investments’ segments such as supply-chain & logistics, financial analytics, patent/IP services, and construction design services.
